Founding Mother:
Eva Harmon s Russian immigrant that realized the American dream when she
started Harmon’s Beauty School in 1962. She was known in the class room to
produce well educated students, strict on the clinic room floor about
sanitation and cleanliness and producing future professionals was no task
that she took lightly. The word on in the community was, if you went to
Harmon’s Beauty School you learned you Theory. Ms. Eva as she was known by
her students and customers for over 50 years will never be forgotten, from
the fruit she would turn into jelly to the student that she would turn into
a lady.
On May 24, 2005 she decided to turn her school over to Ms. G’Marie the
current owner and Director of Education at Harmon’s Beauty School.
